On March 12, 2019 our family endured a loss like no other. Kayde Sue Faulkenburg, just four months shy of her 16th birthday, took her life. Kayde was a lot of things to a lot of people but the best word we use to describe her is a giver. Kayde gave 110% in everything that she was a part of. A high school athlete who was playing Varsity her freshman year, a National Honors’ Society member, an A-B Student, member of multiple clubs. She volunteered her free time to help special needs children in their class at school, and was always seen making people laugh and picking people up when they were down. Kayde was an organ donor who helped save lives even after hers was over. That is why we decided to start the Kayde Sue Faulkenburg Memorial Foundation.

The Kayde Sue Faulkenburg Memorial Foundation was created to be a contributor to the community. We are a 501c3 Non-Profit organization who, like Kayde, is dedicated to be a “giver”. Money that is raised throughout the year through multiple fundraisers and activities will go towards the Kayde Sue Foundation fund to support Suicide and Mental Health Awareness and Anti-Bullying Programs in our communities, Providing financial assistance to those seeking counseling with an inability to pay, assist families who are dealing with the loss of suicide, and High School Scholarships. Please join us in raising awareness and helping so many families, like ours, who are dealing with the loss of a loved one to suicide.
